Greetings from Tami Tania McMullen and WELCOME to my boutique pet retreat, where every guest is welcomed into my home and cared for as one of the family.
We began as a dedicated cat retreat, and our name and website still proudly reflect those cat-loving beginnings. Today, however, I also happily welcome canine companions into my home whenever we don’t have feline house guests.
Whether your fur-baby purrs or barks, my aim is the same — to provide a warm, loving, personalised home-away-from-home where they can feel safe, relaxed and completely cherished.
All photos featured on my website are genuine and personal — they are of me and the beautiful feline and canine companions whose loving owners have entrusted them to my care.

For me, caring for animals has never been a business—it has always been a way of life. TAMI’s was created by me for owners who want their best friends cared for with comfort, kindness and personalised attention.
Run from my Baringa-based home, we are small by design and offer personalised indoor care for one PET, or one PET family, at a time. This allows every house guest to receive calm, individual attention in a peaceful home environment.
At TAMI’s, there are no crowded boarding rooms - instead, your fur baby enjoys a quiet, comfortable home-away-from-home where they can feel safe, settled and loved.

Some guests stay for a weekend. Others leave a little piece of themselves behind. Angel was a very special girl. With limited vision, she needed the reassurance of knowing I was close by. Moments like this—resting peacefully, feeling safe and choosing to stay close—are incredibly precious.

Callie reminded us that every cat has their own unique personality. She adored dressing up, happily posing for photos and turning every day into a little adventure. Guests like Callie are the reason TAMI’s is so much more than a place to stay.

Republik was our sweet little explorer. Every corner, every window and every new toy was an adventure waiting to be discovered. His endless curiosity reminded me that the greatest adventures can be found in the simplest moments.
Porsche & Tami
Named after his owner’s car, Porsche was every bit as flash as his name suggested. Handsome, confident and full of personality, he carried himself with the unmistakable charm and swagger of a cat who knew just how handsome he was.

A gentle, quiet boy who needed patience. He was given all the time and space he needed—and when he was ready for cuddles, it made those moments even more special. From that point on, he was my shadow.

All pricing is based on a 24-hour stay. Submitting a booking enquiry is completely obligation-free, and we're always happy to answer any questions before you book.

Why TAMI’s Exists
TAMI’s was born from a lifelong love of cats and the belief that every cat deserves to feel safe, loved and cared for.
During 30 years living in Dubai, I became deeply involved in self-funded rescue efforts, helping street and abandoned cats through feeding, fostering, rehabilitation and rehoming.
For me, TAMI’s is more than a business. It is a continuation of a life devoted to cats, from the cherished guests who stay with us to those still needing kindness, protection and care.
A portion of TAMI’s proceeds continues to support Dubai’s street cats by helping fund urgent veterinary treatment, food and essential care.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Pets can also be dropped off and picked up by appointment on Saturday/Sunday.

I have known Tami from her time in Dubai - where she was truly a blessing to the street cats. As part of the self-funded Bin Kitty Collective community, we saw first-hand the love, compassion and tireless dedication she gave to cats who had no voice. Whether it was rescuing, feeding, arranging urgent medical care, organising neutering, fostering, rehabilitating, or helping cats find safe and loving homes, Tami gave so much of herself. With TAMI's it is evident she has stayed true to herself and her calling. She was so loved, cared for and made to feel completely at home. I really appreciated all the lovely updates and photos, which gave me such peace of mind knowing she was happy and enjoying herself.
I couldn’t recommend Tami’s highly enough. The space is warm, cosy and homely, and Tania couldn’t possibly have been more caring or welcoming. It truly felt like a wonderful home away from home for Ziggy.
